Earlier this month I mentioned on my twitter account that I will go to Stockholm for the VIP Club Live party. First of all, let's all take a moment to contemplate on how awesome this is, I basically have to fly to Sweden for a weekend and attend a great party! I never imagined that a term that sounds as bad as "job obligations" could actually be so good... I feel so lucky and blessed!
But let's move on to how you guys can get involved... Well the first (and obvious) way is for you to go to the party too! If you'll be in Stockholm around the 26th, then make sure to not miss it! Come and say hi, it will be great to get to meet other players! Since I'm an online grinder and don't really get to talk with other players in person often, I think this is a unique opportunity.
Anyway, for those of you that don't plan to go, don't worry! There's still a way that you can get involved and be part of the fun! PokerStars came up with this awesome idea called "Team Online Battle". Apart from me, there will be two more Team Online Members attending the party: Alex "Kanu7" Millar and Luka "LukaSteel" Kovač. The three of us will be tested on our Swedish trivia knowledge, juggling abilities and slot car racing prowess. You can predict which one will be the winner by voting for us through the PokerStars client. To cast a vote you simply need to register in the shootout tournament that has the name of the person you are voting for.
There are three tournaments, but only one of them will run: the one of the winner from the Team Online Battle. The other two tournaments will be cancelled. So choose wisely! The winner's tournament will give not only $15K in prizes (which is if you'll allow me the term -amazeballs!), but also a trip for two to attend a future VIP Club Live party AND 10% of a Team Online member’s winnings in the SCOOP Main Event. How great is that?!?!?

I kind of feel bad that I can't take part and vote for someone (I'm actually in the competition so that doesn't make any sense, duh!), but at the same I'm super stoked about it! Regardless of who wins, it's gonna be fun! Yeayyyyyy! :D
